School Magazine Photos - Tuesday 14 September

Venue: GYM
 All students reporting for photos will need to line up outside the gym on the forecourt.
 When you arrive you will need to listen and then go and stand in the correct line for your photo.
 When it is time for your photo, you will enter the gym and will need to line up ready for the photo.
 It is the responsibility of all students to make sure only the people who were involved in the activity are in the photo, please speak up if you think someone is there who should not be.
 If it is found that an ‘extra’ is in a photo, then that photo may not be included in the magazine.
Students please record the times in your phone/diary as we will not have time to search for missing students. You will just miss out.
Please arrive 5 minutes earlier than time stated as it is an extremely tight schedule. If you are not there on time, the photo may be taken without you. Photos will not be retaken.
Come in suitable uniform (no jumpers, no polar fleece) and well presented. Many thanks for your understanding.

Grade 10 Exams

Science – Monday 26th July
Maths – Tuesday 27th July
The exams will be held in the students normal subject time and involve content from the whole year so far. The exams aim to give the students practise in study skills and exam conditions.
A students mark may be bumped up by a good result in the exam, but will not be bumped down.
All students have time during class this week to revise, but would also benefit from some extra revision at home. Students can access resources for this on the Science and Maths canvas pages.

UPDATE – Tasmanian Students and staff who have travelled to

To minimise the risk to all staff and students, those staff and students who have been in Victoria (excluding transiting Melbourne airport) or South Australia on or since 8 July are NOT to attend Tasmanian Government schools for the remainder of the school week.
For those impacted students in years K-10 your school will be reaching out to you this week to support with student learning and there are also Learning at Home resources available at https://www.education.tas.gov.au/learning-at-home/
We will continue to keep you informed as this situation evolves and provide a further update on Friday 23 July.

Welcome back for Term 3

Following on from a direction from the Tasmanian Government, we now have some changed arrangements in place for parents and carers when visiting schools.
You will now need to check in using the Check-in TAS app when entering school buildings; this includes classrooms, and the office.
Students are also NOT required to check-in, these arrangements only apply to adults.
We have posters displayed in and around the school site with the QR code to use for checking in.
For those who do not have a smart phone and need to manually check-in, please come to the school office for assistance.
We appreciate your support in ensuring we are doing the right thing.
For more information, visit www.checkin.tas.gov.au

Siblings are able to attend school.
