NAPLAN Grade 7 & 9 Students
03 May 2019
NAPLAN testing for Grade 7 and 9 students is scheduled to take place from May 14-24. This year, all tests will be completed online, allowing for student results and data to be available in a shorter timeframe than in previous years. This learning data allows us to gain an important insight into student learning and it is important for students to do their best so their results are an accurate representation of where they are at. This will allow us to use this data to respond to student need.
Additionally, most tests involve an element of listening. Due to this, students will be required to bring a set of headphones with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack to use during the tests. Please discuss this with your child before the test period begins, so they are appropriately prepared. If you have any questions, please contact James Trainer or Julian Muskett to discuss.
