SPECIALIST FACILITIES

A feature of our year 11/12 offerings is our co-location on the University of Tasmania Sandy Bay campus. With access to the University’s specialist labs, library and amenities, our students will have a unique learning opportunity. Students will be provided with a laptop for personal use, connected to the Department of Education’s network- with Taroona staff onsite at all times.

Our dedicated campus will be housed in the ‘Old IMAS building’ adjacent to the University oval and near the University Gym and public transport on Sandy Bay Rd. Students will have access to facilities at the Taroona High School campus and will be supported to commute between the two should it be required.

Student security and safety will be supported by the combined resources of the Department of Education and the University of Tasmania making for a unique, exciting, and seamless learning pathway from years 9 and 10 into senior secondary and beyond.
